How long does it take?
Typically 3 to 5 working days for a one-page site, 1 to 2 weeks for a multi-page site, and 2 to 3 weeks for an online store. The biggest hold-up is almost always photos, so the sooner they arrive the sooner it is live.
What does the monthly fee pay for?
Hosting, backups, updates, HTTPS, and small text or photo changes when you ask. It is $40 a month, or $60 if you have the admin back end. Month to month, cancel whenever.
Do I own the website?
Yes. Once the final payment clears, the site is yours outright and the domain is in your name. If you stop the monthly you can take the files and host them anywhere. No lock-in and no exit fee.
Will I show up on Google?
Every site is built so Google can read it properly: fast, mobile-first, with the right titles, descriptions, headings and structured data, and your Google Business Profile set up. Where you rank after that is not something anyone can honestly promise, so I don't.
Is it secure?
Every site runs on HTTPS with hardened security headers. There is no WordPress and there are no plugins, so there is nothing sitting on it waiting for a security update. You can check this site's headers yourself with the link in the proof section above.
Why not WordPress, Wix or Squarespace?
WordPress runs on themes and plugins that need constant patching and slow the page down. Wix and Squarespace sites live on their platform, so you are renting rather than owning. Mine is proper code built for your business, owned by you, with nothing to update and nothing to break. This page is the example.
Can I change things myself?
With the admin back end, yes. You can swap photos, add or edit products, change prices and links, and see your analytics. It is $550 once, and included with online stores. Without it, email me small changes and they are covered by the monthly.
Do I have to pay it all up front?
No. 25% to start, which books your spot. The rest is due when it is finished, and can be spread over 2 to 4 weeks.
Do you work outside the Sunshine Coast?
Sunshine Coast first, and anywhere in Queensland. Most of the work happens over email and the phone anyway.
